As I write this Sunday afternoon, the building is starting to come alive. Workers are arriving for last minute preparations, decorations are finished, and now we simply await the arrival of the kids. VBS is probably the most important week of our church year. During this week, we invest in taking the gospel to the most receptive age group.  Be in prayer as we have a great time this week.

John has assembled a great team to lead our VBS. Watching our church gather to teach and lead children is amazing to watch. From the men, and one lady, making sure the kids are safe going to and from their cars, to the kitchen crew, to the teachers and guides, to the registration team and all who donated supplies, I want to say thank you.

We have two teams leaving for Honduras Saturday morning. We have worked with Isaiah 61 Ministries for the last couple of years. This is our fourth time to send a team. One team is made up of 11th and 12th graders. These young men and women have worked hard this year serving on Wednesday evenings, along with other high schoolers. Now, they will experience a potentially life changing trip.

I am looking forward to hearing their reports.
