This Sunday will be a busy day for us at FBC Sanger. We start with our normal worship and Connect groups, followed by lunch together. At the lunch, we will hold our Quarterly Celebrating God’s Work meeting. You will hear reports from the various ministries and committees of the church. This will be a special time of giving thanks for all that God has done in and through FBC Sanger over the last three months. We will also be collecting an offering for the Sanger Crisis Center. The Crisis Center does great work in our community and deserves our support. What we ask is that you think about what you would spend going out for lunch that day with your family and give that as an offering Sunday during the lunch. We will have a basket at each table to receive the donations.
Sunday evening we will host the Community Wide Thanksgiving service. Scott Finley, pastor of Gribble Springs Baptist Church and someone who grew up in our church, will bring a short message. We will have music provided by our Connect Worship Band, a group from Grace Bible and Ed Miller, some of you might remember him, who is serving at Gribble Springs also. As part of the worship service, we will collect canned goods and clothes and a special offering for the Sanger Crisis Center. Join us for a great time of worship with our fellow believers in Sanger.
