So much happens in five years of living. I’m about to have my third grandchild Monday, (if not sooner). My son has graduated from college, our baby (Jo Beth) is a college sophomore and I’m serving a wonderful church in Sanger, Texas. None of that was on the horizon five years ago!
Tracy Tutt (the Dad) told me that Sunday marked five years since they found out about Kodi’s cancer. Five years since they had been introduced to that world of hospitals, treatments, doctors and the rest. But, it’s also been five years of love and support from friends, family and a caring Church family. It’s also been five years of courage. What a courageous family; I love them all. Kodi was barely in school five years ago and she is such a courageous young lady. Big sister Maegan stands beside her little sis, loving and supportive, and Mom and Dad amaze me with their strength. Five years of the Lord walking beside them, loving them, giving them strength for the day at hand, carrying them when their strength was gone and providing hope that rises above our circumstances! We love you Tutts and pray for God’s continued strength and grace as Kodi kicks this thing!
