Are you blind or are you paralyzed?

A boy and a girl returned to the girl's home after her first date. Standing at the door, the boy asked nervously, "May I kiss you?" There was not reply. Again he asked, "Can I kiss you?" No reply. A third time, "Can I kiss you?" Still, no reply. Finally, in desperation he asked, "Are you deaf?" Her reply, "Are you paralyzed?" "15 And they were bringing even their babies to Him so that He would touch them, but when the disciples saw it, they began rebuking them. 16 But Jesus called for them, saying, "Permit the children to come to Me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. 17 Truly I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child will not enter it at all." Luke 18:15-17 The disciples were not paralyzed, but they were in the way. There were parents that only wanted to have their children blessed by Jesus, but the disciples were so caught up in the teaching and healing of Jesus that they wanted to protect Him from any distractions. The only problem, the children were not distractions, they were opportunities. They needed the blessing. They needed the teaching. They needed the healing.
